Corinne started her career in events in San Francisco, California and then continued her career in Charleston, South Carolina where she gained experience in both corporate and social events. From creating the relationships with her clients to turning their dreams into reality, Corinne prides herself in her passion for perfection.

Planning and implementing a large wedding is no small feat. I had done it many times before but this time, I was the mother-of-the-bride and I wanted it to be wonderful for my daughter & son-in-law so I knew I needed some help. Corinne was the only choice. Our family has known her and her family for over 20 years and although we didn’t know her as a coordinator, my heart knew she’d be wonderful. And she was….full of joy & enthusiasm, communicative, creative, smart, trustworthy. All things we value and needed. I hired her for the Day-Of Coordination. After our initial meeting at the site, she was there for me when I hit a few bumps and needed some of her expertise and problem-solving skills. "Hiring Corinne to be our Wedding Coordinator was one of the best decisions we made in our entire wedding process! When it came time to plan my Winter Wedding in San Francisco, as an Event Planner and someone who has an eye for detail myself, it was hard to imagine someone else helping to carry out the most important day of my life. I didn’t think I needed any type of wedding planner, but after much thought, I realized that there was no way I was going to be able to pull off a perfect event without hiring at least a Day of Coordinator or someone to take the reins of the day of the wedding. Corinne was organized, focused, fun, reliable and probably the most perfect person to help me make my wedding vision come to life!

Being that our Wedding Ceremony started at the same exact time that we could get access into our Wedding Reception venue to set up, was probably one of the most difficult challenges we had to face. I knew there was no way I could do it myself, but I found it very hard to picture trusting someone else with all that responsibility and entrusting that everything would get done to my expectations. Throughout the year and a half of planning, every time I met with Corinne, she always had excellent suggestions, creative ideas and always made me feel like I had everything under control, even when I didn’t know exactly how to solve every problem. When it came to planning our timeline and finalizing all the details of the day, I realized that I had to lean on Corinne a lot more than anticipated. But she and her assistant, Jenna, came through like a couple of angels from above! Knowing they were setting our venue up as we were taking our vows, making sure every detail was in place, put my mind at ease. Corinne and Jenna took it upon themselves to go above and beyond to ensure that our Big Day went as smooth as possible. Corinne’s attention to detail and passion for success make her worth far more than the rate she charges. While my husband and I were getting pulled in every different direction throughout the night, she somehow kept us on track and kept the flow of the entire night. Corinne managed to flawlessly set up our entire venue and even added some creative touches of her own, which turned out absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere she created was exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I am so grateful for her and the dedication she showed to us on our Wedding Day and throughout this entire process. Our guests were blown away by everything. We have heard that our wedding was “the best wedding ever”, “breathtaking”, “beyond magical”…I could go on! And it wouldn’t have been so spectacular if Corinne hadn’t devoted herself to our dream. Not one detail was missed and the décor and ambience was stunning.

Our Wedding Day was simply, the best day ever. It was beyond what we could’ve ever imagined. It completely surpassed our expectations because we were blessed to have such a truly dedicated and passionate woman help everything come to life. "Our Amazing Wedding Coordinator: Corinne did a wonderful job for our recent wedding at the Olympic Club Lakeside on 9/24/16. About 10 months ago when we had gotten engaged, we knew we wanted to hire a day of coordinator to make our day stress-free. That being said, we went into our wedding knowing that “something always comes up” but our day could not have gone more smoothly. I am sure plenty of things probably came up but we did not have to worry about anything and this was largely due to Corinne Plafker from Coast To Coast Coordination. Luckily, our photographer had referred us to her and we had no idea how to plan a wedding. Although we had opted for day of coordination instead of the full coordination package, Corinne was so helpful throughout the process. We felt that we could email or call her if we needed and a few weeks before the wedding, we met to discuss details of the wedding. She guided us the entire way and mentioned a lot of helpful things that we would not have thought about. I knew that we were in good hands and we were not disappointed. The day of our wedding, Ben and I did not have to worry about a thing. Corinne made our vision a reality and by the time we came to our reception site, everything was set up perfectly. We had a candy bar and a cupcake display which are not the easiest tables to have and the tables were always full of goodies. She was calm, patient, and kind (three very important qualities needed for one’s wedding day.) Our wedding day went as smoothly as we could have asked we kept on schedule throughout the night and by the end of it, we felt we were able to enjoy our entire evening, eat our dinner and talk to our loved ones. The

next day, we picked up our things which Corinne had packed up so neatly and my mom, who can be a very tough critic, had the nicest things to say about Corinne as well. My mom was extremely happy with how smoothly the day went and from her interactions with Corinne, she felt she was also very patient, helpful and calm. To sum it up, my husband and I would highly recommend Corinne Plafker as a wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond what we expected and could not be happier. If anyone

"Partnering with Corinne and Coast to Coast Coordinating as our wedding planner in April of 2017 was one of the best decisions we made when planning for our wedding. We had done a lot of our own planning but was in need of help the week and day of since our wedding was very formal had had 200 local guests. 

 

For the pre-planning, Corinne and I met early in the planning process to review our wedding, discuss logistics, support needed, and ideas to make our wedding unique for us. We were often in contact through email and she was always available to answer questions. We met again about 2 weeks before the wedding to go over logistics in detail. She helped out so much to think of all those little details you may forget about. 

 

The day before, Corinne helped out SO much since we had a larger guest list and bridal party. She stopped by to pick things up from our house for the reception venue, was always offering to help with anything, and was there to support me as the bride. She even offered to get me food the day before the wedding when I was running around.

 

On the day of, I did not see her until we got to the reception but she was there to greet us at the door, everything had been set up, guests were enjoying the cocktail hour, and my new husband and I were so relieved! On your wedding day you're so consumed and a million things are going on and just to see Corinne, hear everything has gone great, and she offered to get us a drink- honestly, it was amazing! For the setup of the reception, we had lots of vendors come in that Corinne coordinated and also worked with the venue coordinator very well. She is a very personable person and can work and communicate with anyone. She was on site for set up through teardown and also made sure our bridal suite was covered in flowers, had cake, and champagne. I should also mention we had a special guest at our wedding, Lou Seal (the Giants mascot), who's attendance was a surprise for my husband. Corinne helped me coordinate his arrival and made sure he joined the party as a big surprise. 

 

If I had to do it all over again, Corinne would be the first person I call. This time I may even have her plan the whole thing!"
